Until 2009, in China there are 104 special high school for the persons with disabilities where enroll 6339 students. And there are 174 middle vocational training organization, where enroll 11448 students. 6586 PWDs are enrolled by normal university. 1196 PWDs study in special education college.
Although we have got a lot of advance,there are still lots of persons with hearing impairment have few job and skills training opportunities & choices for work. We must give them more chance to get trainging and make them have the occupational competency.
The persons with hearing impairment having difficult in communicating with other people which hinder them learning and working. Computer can be a good media for them to learn knowledge and communicate with other people, which could make them integrate in the society.

In order to achieve the quota aim, the companys want to employ PWDs, but sometime little PWDs have the competency to the job.

Shaanxi Vocational Training Center for Disabled Persons has implemented “The Blind Hope Project” - Training for the blind persons computer skill for 3 years. So we have enough computers, space and computer teachers for training. And we can also afford accommodation for the PWDs.

To provide office software training and employment opportunities for the persons with hearing impairment in Shaanxi province so that they may integrate in the society and be employed, and finally become economically independent.

We will train 20 persons with hearing impairment for 20 days. They will learn the basic computer skills such as how to use computers, Microsoft Word,Excel, Powerpoint and so on.
In the first year, we will have only one training course. After 1 year, we hope to spread this training course in Shaanxi province and train 2 times 1 year.
We will train 100 persons with hearing impairment in the second year.
And we will also help them to get computer skill certificate.
