Participants listened to an opinion in lecture Room

The aim of the lecture was to analyze participant's organizations not only to develop, but to improve sustainability of organizations.

Before the lecture, participants were asked to fill the questionnaires prepared by Chairperson of planning Committee. The questionnaire items consist of four categories; Solidness, Safety, Sustainability and Transparency, and there were 52 questions altogether.

Some questions are as follows;

  • “What kind of incomes do you have?”
  • “Do you monitor the plans?”
  • Do you have opportunities to report of your activities to community people regularly?”

The lecture was facilitated by Chairperson of planning Committee.
Each participant was allowed to use about 30 minutes for Q & A session based on his/her questionnaire response. The other eight participants could raise questions and discuss regarding the operation of his/her organization including resources of fund, reporting responsibility, accountability, and human resources. Through the discussion participants re-acknowledged the problems and weaknesses of the organizations and they came to understand the keys of success for developing their organization.

Even though participants who belong to governmental organizations or some who were not in the decision-making positions got some ideas that they could share with their bosses and colleagues after returning to their home countries.
