Presentation Ceremony for six wheelchairs and four crutches

There are still many persons with physical disabilities in the world who do not have their own wheelchairs and are facing difficulty to get out from their homes.

One of activities of Friendly Life Community (F.L.C) is to look for the second hand wheelchairs and donate them to friends with disabilities from developing countries. Since the students of Kanagawa Institute of Technology knew about their activity, they have been cooperating with F.L.C in repairing the second hand wheelchairs.

Mr. Shotaro Yamaguchi, Senior Vice Chairman of F.L.C visited TIC with two students from the Institute to donate six wheelchairs to Philippines, Laos, Indonesia and etc. Three pairs of crutches and one stick were also donated by Polio no Kai (Society for persons with poliomyelitis).

We had a small but warm presentation ceremony to express our appreciation to all donors.
