Program Orientation at JSRPD

JICA Training course on "Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Promotion of Persons with Disabilities"has started its seven week program since last Tuesday, 14 June 2005.

Nine participants from eight countries have visited Toyama Sunrise today to have the program orientation and a lecture on "Overall glance of welfare system on disability in Japan " by Mr. Ichiro Maruyama, a course leader of this training course, and an overview of Japan Society for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities by Ms. Etsuko Ueno, an expert on International cooperation, International Relation Division of JSRPD.The office of JSRPD is placed on the first floor of Toyama Sunrise, a training and accomodation facility specillay designed for persons with disabilities.
